Jack Frost | Waterbender

Waterbenders work with the environment and move as smoothly as water does, their energy changing and flowing constantly. They turn their opponents’ attacks against them, letting their defense become their offense.

Jack is a waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe. Before he died, he hadn’t trained nearly at all, so his skills weren’t enough to pull himself to safety when he was drowning. The Man in the Moon, the source of all waterbending, is to thank for Jack’s revival.

When Jack was young, his family decided to visit the Earth Kingdom. Not a far journey, but half-way there they stopped on the same island that housed the Southern Air Temple. A group of playing children found them, and for nearly a month Jack convinced his family to stay because he had become such good friends with the children, who visited as often as they could. Jack’s skill with his staff comes partially from his time with them, as well as his ease with the North Wind.
